Arjun Rampal has been busy working on Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine and has just finished his latest schedule. However, his scenes are not completely done yet and he will be back, but for now it is pack up.

He tweeted, “Just packed up for Heroine, super fun, filming with @mbhandarkar268 and the whole team, will miss them as will be back after a long break.”

And the tweet back from the director? “Thanks bro. We all enjoyed shooting with u.jalwa.”

In the film, which stars Kareena Kapoor, Arjun plays an actor who is in love with Kareena’s Heroine. He said in an earlier interview, “Bebo is the protagonist of the film and she has a very good part in it. But it is also a beautiful love story that happens between two characters from the same line of work, and how much misunderstanding is created by people who are supposed to make that communication easier.”

Adding, “It’s going to be a Madhur Bhandarkar film which deals with a lot of layers of reality and that’s what I enjoy doing. I like my characters to have a certain level of realism. I hope to portray it with conviction and not in a caricaturist manner.”

Sadly fans have a bit of a wait until they can watch his fab performance in Heroine, because it is not scheduled to release September 14th.

A little tidbit we learned about Arjun is that besides actor and restaurateur he also spins a mean beat. He recently said, “I love music. It’s a passion. DJ-ing is an art, and I’m crazy about it.” A man of many gifts.

He is very happy with his many roles and working on ‘a lot of everything’. He says, “From acting to my restaurant to a planning for future projects. It’s great to be busy!”

So what will the actor with the killer voice be working on next? Prakash Jha’s Chakravyuh, which also stars Abhay Deol, Esha Gupta, Manoj Bajpai and others. On his timeline on twitter he wrote, “Now to prepare for Prakash Jha’s Chakravyuh, one of my fav directors.” The film goes to the floor on April 7th.

To prepare for the role the actor has, according to his tweets, been spending lots of time at the gym and following a special diet. “Workouts, innovative recipes to support that. Seeing more of the gym these days than anyone else. Well that’s my state of mind right now and I am loving it. Stay fit and happy.”

Also a priority is, “Spend some quality time with loved ones, before I disappear into MP.”

We hear the actor is playing a cop, but more on this film and his role once the camera starts rolling so stay tuned!
