Everyone knows that Bollywood playback singer Atif Aslam is renowned for his romantic numbers which transform in to huge hits. Well now he is back with the soulful tune ‘Jeena Jeena’ from the upcoming action/drama Badlapur. The film stars Varun Dhawan, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Divya Dutta, Radhika Apte and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the leading roles and promises to be an adrenaline-pumping film. Badlapur is reportedly based on the story of a man who is on the hunt for revenge after having witnessed his wife and son being murdered.
Composed by Sachin-Jigar and written by Dinesh Vijan and Priya Saraiya, ‘Jeena Jeena’ is a mellow number which has a great catch to it, as well as wonderfully written lyrics which are quite poignant. In addition, Atif sings flawlessly throughout and his vocals match perfectly with the theme of the song. Check out the video if you don’t believe us!
