Atul Agnihotri’s new film is based on a book entitled One Night @ The Call Centre by Chetan Bhagat, though the films title will be Hello…. It is story about how the lives of six people, working at a call centre change after they receive an extraordinary call.

Agnihotri said that he was drawn to the book, because it is “a beautiful story which got me fired and inspired. This book combines mystique with modern values and gets you thinking.” The film’s script is being co-written by Bhagat and he is actually penning all the dialogues.

The cast originally included Sharman Joshi, Zayed Khan, Gul Pang and Celina Jaitley. About the casting, Agnihotri had said, “At the forum of One Night @ The Call Centre, many readers had written in suggesting the actors they pictured in the various roles. Keeping that in mind, we cast Zayed, Sharman, Celina and Gul as so many people have already accepted them in those roles.” Both Zayed Khan and Celina Jaitley left the production and were replaced by Sohail Khan and Isha Koppikar. Amrita Arora, Sharat Saxena, and Dalip Tahil round off the cast. With the special appearances of Salman Khan as Chetan and Katrina Kaif playing “the girl in the train”.

The music is being created by Sajid-Wajid, with lyrics by Jalees Sherwani. An interesting note is that the film’s soundtrack will also include bands from call centers in Delhi. “There are a lot of bands in the call centers in Delhi, who have their inter-call centre competition. So those like Josh Machine for example will be featured in the soundtrack of the film,” revealed the Agnihotri.
