It took 5 years for Subhash Ghai to find a story to pick up the director’s baton. Finally, he found a tale to tell, The Story of Kaanchi.
Ghai’s films always have a social message, and Kaanchi’s story is a story on the empowerment of women.
From the hills of Uttarakhand to the city of Mumbai, Kaanchi’s story is about a girl fighting for her rights. And in true Showman style, Ghai uses the medium of entertainment to narrate his story.
Starring Mishti and Kartik Aaryan, the film that also features Rishi Kappor opens on April 25th.
