Dupahiya, directed by Sonam Nair, currently streaming on Amazon Prime, has garnered praise for the actors’ fabulous performances, the humor, and the original story of the excellent series. The nine-episode series weaves fun and drama with small-town charm, and it is brought to life by a superbly talented cast, including Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Shrivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashpal Sharma in key roles.

The story revolves around the fictional village of Dhadakpur, which is on the cusp of celebrating 25 years of being crime-free. However, chaos ensues when a coveted Dupahiya (motorbike) gets stolen! With the silver jubilee trophy, a wedding, and the villagers’ pride at stake, what follows is a crazy journey to retrieve the bike before it’s too late.

The director recently took fans Behind The Scene, in fact, the first scene, in a post on Instagram.

Breaking it down, she wrote, “That most important first scene. Shot on the 3rd day of shoot, the actors must have done the whole scene about 45 times because of the dozens of shots we needed! Editing it took even longer. Scoring it was another challenge.

And yet, my hope is that it looks simple and effortless.”

Watching that first scene, you would never know it took 45 takes!

She also has shared some other shots from the shoot! Check it out
