From the first poster and that intense look in her eyes, to our first experience of the tigeress Begum Jaan in the trailer we have been completely awed at Vidya Balan’s transformation and performance in the film.
Director Srijit Mukherji says Vidya Balan was his first choice when he set out to make this film, “There’s something about Vidya’s face, voice and body language. I can’t think of other actors who can pull off this character.”
