Salman-Sonakshi: (Dabangg)
What worked: Dabangg was, of course, the biggest grosser of the year and it also saw the debut of Sonakshi Sinha opposite Salman Khan. First impressions were good all-round and once the film released, it was clear that this jodi was rocking. Sinha’s stubborn character complimented Khan’s touching but funny rendition. The two, quite simply, looked exquisite on screen together and in turn did more than justice to the sweet but sour performance required.
Verdict: Iss jodi ko pyaar karne se darr nahin lagta…saab!
