WORST
Deepika-Neil Nitin Mukesh (Lafangey Parindey)
What didn’t work: Although Lafangey Parindey was dubbed as complete paisa vasool by many, the same couldn’t quite be said for the jodi of the two protagonists Deepika Padukone and Neil Nitin Mukesh. It’s evident from nearly everyone who has seen the film that although the story had substance, the casting of Neil Nitin as a tapori was a mistake. Ultimately, this very fact lets the jodi down. Although not a strong thumbs down, a thumbs down nonetheless!
Verdict: They could work in more suited characters.
