Coming up soon is the multi-actor movie that introduces crime through the perspective of a chess board – Bhindi Bazaar Inc.. The film was directed by Ankush Bhatt and produced by business prodigy – Karan Arora – High ground Enterprise. It has newly been announced that the movie’s theatrical view will be showcased with the most anticipated block buster Yamla Pagla Deewana, which is releasing worldwide with more than 1400 prints…truly a suitable platform.
What makes this movie truly unique is the star cast that includes actors who are known for their award winning performances including K.K Menon, Deepti Naval, Pawan Malhotra, Piyush Mishra, Prashant Narayanan, Shilpa Shukla – lining up its start cast. The movie also introduces fresh new talents and faces – Shweta Verma, Gautam and Vedita, thus offering a variety of performances. A tale based on the quest of a small time pick-pocket in Mumbai’s favourite galli Bhindi Bazaar whose ambition is to be the local don of his locality, it’s metaphorically told from chess-board perspective of how the pawn, though the weakest piece on the board, tactically gets to other end of the board alive and transforms into a ‘Wazir’.
The screen-play of the movie underlines the gritty politics, unspoken commands, crafty wit and cold blooded betrayals that govern the crime life on the streets of “Bhindi Bazaar”. The movie sure looks like it’s one of those flicks that brings the harsh reality all the way from the underbelly of society, right into-your-face delivered in a very thrilling realistic way.
