Amitabh Bachchan anxiously blogged this week about the happenings on the sets of Leena Yadav’s Teen Pati which has international icon Ben Kingsley as a part of its multi-starer cast.
Big B stated in his blog that things are so rushed on the sets that scenes are being compiled by the minute without adequate planning, and dialogues are only just finalised minutes before the scene is to be shot. The professional actor who has survived years in this world of cinema also went on to state that all these small problems will take a toll on the end product they will deliver.
What above all concerns Big B is the time constraint placed on him due to these deficiencies in the planning by the crew and the fact that this means his time usually designated for his blog is compromised. The actor went on to add that he considers the blog a top priority as it keeps him connected with people who’ve shared his life with him for the past year. He even admitted that that is why this blog can be deemed to be in a tone of sheer complaint!
Now having Big B complain about such a major issue on the sets most definitely must indicate something is terribly wrong. One can only assume why such a professional actor with so much experience in the industry would assume that the output will significantly undermine the output of his work.
Till Leena Yadav takes things in her hands more aptly one can only hope and pray that Big B doesn’t loose his temper and that his worries do not eventuate into reality.
Teen Pati, alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley, also stars Madhavan, debutants Shraddha Kapoor (daughter of Shakti Kapoor), Dhruv Ganesh, Siddharth Kher and Vaibhav Talwar. The story revolves around a professor, played by Big B, who is tutoring his top five students in gambling with high stakes with a cause.
