After much speculation and a case of casting musical chairs, the female lead for Rohan Bluffmaster Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum has been finalised. After reports that Priyanka Chopra dropped out of the film as she was keen to star opposite Abhishek Bachchan and not South star Rana Daggubati, it was rumoured that her Fashion co-star Kangana Ranaut had been cast instead. However the latest ‘dope’ on the film is that Bipasha Basu has bagged the coveted role of a glamorous junkie – said to be inspired by Zeenat Aman’s character in the classic Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
The Goan crime thriller rolls in a fortnight and also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Pratik and Aditya Pancholi.
