9. Friday May 9th, 2008 – NDTV Imagine’s Idea Dhoom Macha De came to its finale this past weekend as Jaspinder Narula got crowned India’s Best Performer. Queen of hearts, Rani Mukerji came in to crown the winner. The actress also performed, along with some cute little kids, to a song from her forthcoming movie, Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic. It is interesting to note that the three judges of the show were directly and indirectly associated with TPTM: Shankar Madhavan being the music director, Prasoon Joshi being the lyricist, and Sharmila Tagore being the mother of the film’s lead actor, Saif Ali Khan.
