On the happy occasion of Raksha Bandhan, we at BollySpice would like to wish all the brothers and sisters a very happy Raksha Bandhan. Of course, we had to put a Bollywood twist on the festival that celebrates the union of siblings, and so we take a quick look at our favorite bhai-bahen jodi’s in Tinseltown.
Ranbir Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor-Karisma Kapoor: Although we don’t see the actors coming together on screen anytime soon, they are by far the most popular trio of siblings in the industry. And of course, it does help that they all are incredibly good looking!
Farhan Akhar-Zoya Akhtar: Besides being incredibly film savvy, the Akhtar siblings are extremely fond of each other. When a number of actors backed out from Zoya’s debut film, Luck By Chance, it was Farhan who stepped in and took on the role of the protagonist. All for his pyari bahena!
Salman Khan-Arpita Khan: Salman simply dotes on his youngest sister for whom he recently threw a huge bash on the occasion of her birthday. In turn, Arpita is said to follow Salman’s advice in every situation.
Sanjay Dutt-Priya Dutt: They may not have the most loving of relationships, but Sanjay and Priya Dutt are incredibly respectful of each other.
Ekta Kapoor-Tushaar Kapoor: Ekta has no bones in admitting that she simply adores her younger brother. In turn, Tushaar holds his sister in high regard and is always willing to go the extra mile for his sister.
Saif Ali Khan-Soha Ali Khan: We have yet to see the Khan siblings come together onscreen but until then, the duo will continue to support each other in their respective acting careers.
Abhishek Bachchan-Shweta Nanda : Abhishek Bachchan sings hymns of his sister and displays his love for his sister very publicly. In turn, Shweta Nanda supports her brother in all his endeavors.
