The fact that Preity Zinta is considered a leading actress leaves me dumbfounded over and over again. Can’t a leading actress in Hindi cinema do more than a Jhoom Barabar Jhoom? The good news is that Preity doesn’t seem to need us to tell her this considering that she’s taken a conscious decision to work on a variety of films for release in 2008 including Heaven on Earth, Heroes, The Last Lear and Har Pall. It looks like she’s well on her way to making this resolution come true.
Anyway, let bygones be bygones. Let’s hope our stars head into 2008 with rejuvenated vigour and passion for their work. In the end, it’s what on-screen that counts.
