Boman Irani and Anupam Kher are the most MISMATCHED couple on screen and both tend to draw so many laughs because of this. Together, they had created the magic in their first film. And now after Khosla ka Ghosla, both are coming back together in Xperience Film’s first movie It’s A Mismatch.
Both are playing characters that are very contrary to what they have done till now. Anupma Kher, who is playing the father of hero Anubhav Anand, is a very loud, vociferous and physical Punjabi. He believes in back-slapping and shoving around while talking to people. Boman Irani, on the other hand, is the peaceful, quite and very elegant Gujarati Mr Patel. What happens when they meet to do the matchmaking for their children? Says Anubhav, “Together they are a riot. It was a treat to watch both the acting maestros delivering their scenes. Just seeing them together, we all have learnt so much. It was much more then what one can learn in any acting school. Together, they have added so much to our film. I am lucky to have both of them in my first film only.” As for Anupam, he enjoyed making Boman’s life miserable on screen. Specially, after what Boman had done to him in their first film together.
It’s A Mismatch is a passionate view of hilariously star-crossed romance while never forgetting the importance of family, culture, and staying true to one’s emotions. Produced under the banner of Xperience films and directed by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, its star cast is Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Nandana Sen and introduces Anubhav Anand, who studied acting with Roshan Taneja and done Acting for camera advanced course from Pittsburgh Filmmakers Institute in USA and studied Level I and II of Theatre from School of Performing Arts, Clemson University, USA.
