Following its world premiere on the Opening Night of the 15th Chicago South Asian Film Festival (CSAFF) on September 20th, Prime Video’s upcoming original movie, The Mehta Boys, has been honored with the prestigious Best Feature Film award. The film, which marks Boman Irani’s directorial debut, has received this accolade for its compelling storytelling and heartfelt performances, resonating deeply with audiences and critics alike.

The event was graced by the film’s talented cast, including actor, writer, director, and producer Boman Irani, alongside writer Alexander Dinelaris and actors Avinash Tiwary and Shreya Chaudhry. Also in attendance were producer Danesh Irani and executive producer Ankita Batra.

The Mehta Boys tells the poignant story of a father and son who, despite their differences, must spend 48 hours together, leading to a heartfelt exploration of their complex relationship.

The film, produced by Irani Movietone LLP and Chalkboard Entertainment LLP, features a talented ensemble cast, including Boman Irani, Avinash Tiwary, Shreya Chaudhry, and Puja Sarup.
