Actor and Motivational Speaker Boman Irani is currently in New York to be a part of a fundraiser activity with The Akanksha Foundation.
Two Indian students were specially flown to New York for the event as representatives for all the children under the foundation. This event aimed to raise funds for approximately 8000 children. Boman is making the most of this visit to New York and is spending quality time with the kids.
The actor took the kids for popular Broadway Show- The Lion King and also gave them a tour of the city, visited iconic places like The Times Square and many more.
The 4th Annual Gala was a celebration to the foundation’s groundbreaking work in providing quality education for India’s least-served children and systemic education reform.
Boman, along with the foundation took a pledge to help and raise funds for the education of the children on 10th May,2019 and were able to raise around a million dollars.
