Good marketing, promotion and obviously a well cut promo has done the trick. ‘Heropanti’, which has seen some sustained drive around it for last couple of months, is looking like a good winner at the box office. Barring a few mischievous voices, the film is seeing some positive vibes surrounding it. In fact last fortnight has especially seen a greater push for this Sajid Nadiadwala production, what with the songs picking up as well and lead pair of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon creating good curiosity around them.

All of this means that Sabbir Khan can expect a good opening of over 50% for his second directorial outing. As a matter of fact his debut film ‘Kambakkth Ishq’ (again made for Sajid Nadiadwala) had opened well too but while that was with Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor, ‘Heropanti’ has absolute newcomers. The film is all set to have the biggest opening at the box office since ‘2 States’.

Another release of the week is ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ which is all set to take a huge opening down South in the Tamil and Telugu version. In fact the film has already garnered some good advance booking in those territories already. As for the Hindi release, it would primarily see growth over the weekend since families are expected to catch it during off-days. Though Rajinkanth and Deepika Padukone feature in the film, a South inspired title as well as subject and treatment means that word of mouth would play a major role in its play at the box office.
