The CBFC, Central Board Of Film Certification has passed Prabhas’ The Raja Saab with a U/A 16+ certificate. This means Prabhas’ underage fans cannot watch the film until it arrives on a streaming platform where the film’s violence is likely to be further reduced.
The Raja Saab is reportedly Prabhas’ most violent film to date.
A source close to the CBFC tells this writer, “Although granted a 16+, the censor board still had to reduce the length one sequence of a man being beheaded. They also deleted some shots of blood which they felt was unnecessary.”
It remains to be seen how Prabhas’s fans react to the aggravated violence in The Raja Saab.
