(There was a rumour that Punjabi and Bollywood superstar Jimmy Shergill, who is filming in Vancouver, was supposed to attend the Vancouver Summer Funk as well but was delayed at his shoot).

Member of Parliament Miss. Jinny Sims graced the Vancouver stage and encouraged all the performers with her kind words.

Miss. Bonnie Crombie, City Councillor of Mississauga, Ontario, mesmerised by the Bollywood spectacular put up by the Toronto students and showed her love for Bollywood as well while learning some dance moves.

Both audiences were touched by the acts put up by Shiamak’s Victory Arts Foundation’s performers with special needs from North Shore Connexions Society, Developmental Disability Association – Richmond and Vancouver and Erin Oak Kids – Centre for Treatment and Development in Mississauga.

The date was a landmark for Shiamak as his school in Vancouver celebrated A Decade in Dance. The night displayed Bollywood style, glamour and colour leaving all on a HAPPY Note. With Shiamak’s tag line –Have Feet Will Dance, the audiences not only witnessed the best but were seeing learning the thumkas and the jhatkas.
