Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 has created history by collected RS. 100 Crores at the box office in just six days. The news was confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, who tweeted the following on his Twitter account. “#Dabangg2 Fri 21.10 cr, Sat 19.06 cr, Sun 25 cr, Mon 12 cr, Tue 15.5 cr, Wed 8.12 cr. Total: Rs 100.78 cr nett. 100 cr crossed in 6 days!”
It should be mentioned that these figures are based purely on what the film has collected at the Indian box office. Hence, overseas figures are not included, which exemplifies the true success of this second instalment in the Dabangg series. In its opening weekend alone Dabanng 2 boasted approximately 22 crores in the overseas market!
The good news arrived coincidentally on the occasion of Salman’s 47th birthday. No doubt he celebrated two things on 27 December 2012; his birthday and the incredible success of Dabangg 2.
