The new Daboo Ratnani celebrity calendar has been released and features all the top Bollywood stars as usual – Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Kangna Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Kajol, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza. Deepika Padukone gives the impression of having posed nude as she sits in a leather Chessington with a sideways shot.
This is Daboo’s 11th calendar and has been shot in monochrome. Deepika’s photo is starkly different to her shot last year which featured her in a sari. “I wanted to make her look sensual, but aesthetic,” said Daboo, “Last year, I had shot her in a sari, so this is in total contrast. She strikes a thinking, dreamy pose and I have used lighting to match her mood.”
How does Daboo choose the stars for his calendar? “They are all my friends and go out of their way to cooperate,” he explains, “For me they all look hot.” Daboo has also recently finished a photo shoot with Mahie Gill and Monica Arora.
