Yes! In the last couple of hours there have been strong rumors in a section of the media about the demise of yesteryears superstar Dev Anand. But Dale Bhagwagar, the publicist of his forthcoming film Charge Sheet has clarified that Bollywood’s ‘evergreen hero’ is not only hale and hearty, but working at breakneck speed, completing the post-production of his latest movie.
“The rumors have no truth in them,” said Bhagwagar, and added, “Dev Saab has been working nonstop on the background score of Charge Sheet and was actually watching television when these rumors broke out. I called him up late in the night at his Mumbai residence to check if everything was alright, and we ended up having a hearty laugh over it at 1.30 am. Right now, he’s charged about Charge Sheet. As I have known him, he possesses more energy than many of the young makers of today. Dev Anand, till date, is a man on a mission. The heavens can wait.”
