Nagesh Kukunoor’s Dhanak has been creating quite a stir with its heartwarming story and adorable performances by the two children Chotu and Pari played by Krrish Chhabria and Hetal Gada. The loveable bond between the two has already become the talk of the town such that even the Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan and his wife Mini Mathur were spellbound by the duo’s talent. Mini even held a special screening of the film for some of her friends from the film fraternity, including Suchitra Krishnamoorthy, Javed Jaffrey, Meiyang Chang, Maria Goretti, Archana Puran Singh and Dolly Thakore amongst others who attended the screening along with the cast of the movie.

Kabir Khan, whose own film Bajrangi Bhaijaan featured a star-turn by child actor Harshaali Malhotra said, “Dhanak is a beautiful film and I absolutely loved it. The backbone of this film is the children who have performed extremely well. I have worked with child artists before and I know how difficult it can be, but the kids were so natural! Every person will be able to relate to this bond between two siblings. The beauty of the road journey was reflected in their performance. I love road journeys in fact a lot of my films have road journeys as their backdrop.”

The excitement towards the film is building day by day and we can’t wait to see Chotu and Pari win audiences over with their innocent charm on the big screen!

Dhanak has been written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, and stars Krrish Chhabria and Hetal Gada as the loveable siblings.
