It is confirmed. Bollywood actress and producer Dia Mirza has chosen the social network to make public her engagement to long-time partner Sahil Sangha. The actress tweeted, “Officially engaged. #NYC” and posted a picture of the two from the green carpet at the IIFA 2014 Awards, held last weekend at Florida, US.
The couple was rumoured to be preparing their wedding, and the model even confirmed in a recent interview that they were planning to get married next year unless work made it impossible. It seems that the couple have found a gap in their busy schedules and they are going ahead as planned.
The soon-to-be life partners are business partners as well. The couple co-own Born Free Entertainment, a production house founded in 2011. The company’s first film was Love Breakups Zindagi, directed by Sangha and starring Mirza. Its second project is Bobby Jasoos, with Vidya Balan in the lead role. The film, whose filming finished in February this year, is scheduled to be release on July 4.
