In the latest episode of ‘Ganga- The soul of India’, Dia Mirza met and spent time with the children from the Boat School in Varanasi.

Ajeet Singh, the founder, began the school on the banks of the Ganga with a mission. He was concerned about the vast number of children wandering around aimlessly and being led astray. This troubled him to such an extent that he decided to address this issue by creating a special space, ‘The Boat School’ where these children spend two hours after their regular school day and study, play or revise without any pressures or tensions.

In the clip, an overwhelmed Dia is seen meditating with the children and talking about the importance of encouraging young minds’ creative passions in order to secure a better future.
