Twice postponed through other commitments, Vipul Shah’s London Dreams finally slips into production in June in the UK. Starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan, it’s the story of two friends who dream of becoming rock stars in London. But who will be the girl that our two heroes fight over – there has to be a girl, right? Will it be sultry Katrina Kaif or bouncy Kareena Kapoor or will Vipul break with tradition and cast an American or British girl in the role? “Maybe,” is all he’ll say at this point.
It was Salman Khan, himself, who provided the impetus for the rebirth of this project. After seeing the tremendous response to his wax figure at the Madame Tussaud’s Bollywood exhibition last summer, he was determined to film again in London. He’s also a big fan of the desi milieu music mix in London with artists such as Rishi Rich, Bally Sagoo and Juggy D – perhaps their music will appear in the film.
