Three leading influencers on the South Asian fashion landscape, Aamna & Aisha and Radhika Hasan, bring to the Capital a UK exclusive and first of its kind entry on the fashion calendar. Taking place on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd May at Mayfair Hotel, Stratton Street, London W1, Faisana: Fashion Weekend curates and presents for the very first time together on one international platform three of India and three of Pakistan’s most celebrated designers – Anita Dongre, Rina Dhaka and Bhairavi Jaikishan (India); and Umar Sayeed, Nida Azwer and Sania Maskatiya (Pakistan).
Faisana: Fashion Weekend marks the first event to combine Indian and Pakistani fashion from the respective countries’ most lauded fashion houses and provide a unique buying experience that will showcase the high end of South Asian fashion. The two-day event at Mayfair Hotel will launch with an exclusive Champagne, Canapés and Couture evening on 2nd May, 7-9.30pm in Mayfair Hotel’s Crystal Room, where an invite only audience of buyers, influencers, VIP’s and celebrities will preview the latest collections from all participating designers. The designers will personally introduce their collections and attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the designers directly. The evening will be interspersed with a runway show and classical dance performance by celebrated Kathak dancer Fasih ur Rahman of the Akademi institute.
A free to attend, open exhibition, The Grand Trunk Show, will follow on 3rd May, 12-7pm, showcasing a wide range of ready to wear and couture from the designers’ latest collections for the general public, hosted by the designers themselves. Importantly, prices will be very competitive, in line with Indian and Pakistani retail prices.
Radhika Hasan Ltd launched in 2013 and has fast established itself as an emerging powerhouse in the distribution of South Asian fashion across the UK. In a short space of time, it has established relationships with iconic fashion houses such as Tarun Tahiliani and Satya Paul as well as emerging brands such as Aharin.
Aamna & Aisha have been hosting exhibitions featuring Umar Sayeed, Nida Azwer and Sania Maskatiya for over three years and have further worked with a number of established Pakistani brands such as Momina Teli, Maheen, Sadaf M and Ensemble.

UK buyers and consumers will have first dibs on exclusive collections that will debut either at the event itself or during the March/ April fashion weeks such as Lakme. The pieces will not have been seen or be available anywhere in the UK before the event.
