When you have legends like Amitabh Bachchan saying that Ferrari Ki Sawaari is a “fresh thought – simple rendering, lovable film …” you have to sit up and take notice. Truly, the upcoming movie from the Vidhu Vinod Chopra Camp, directed by debutant Rajesh Mapuskar, is said to have left no stone unturned in ensuring thorough professionalism.
A particular sequence for Ferrari Ki Sawaari was being shot at Lords Stadium, London and needed to show a match between the under-14 players. When the crew went for a recess, they decided instead of shooting with extras or junior artists, they would shoot with actually trained cricketers – thus bringing authenticity to the shoot. Now that’s what we call a ‘good shot’.
Ferrari ki Sawaari is a heart-warming tale exploring the relationship between three generations. Directed by debutant Rajesh Mapuskar, it stars Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani. We are all waiting with eager anticipation for the movie to release and see the outcome of the hard work that went in the making of the movie.
