13oct_TheFifthState-PosterThe 15th Mumbai Film Festival which is organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) has recently revealed its concluding film to be Bill Condon’s dramatic thriller The Fifth Estate.

Co-produced by Participant Media and DreamWorks, The Fifth Estate is based on one of the most realistic events of the quest to expose the deceptions and corruptions of power that turned an Internet upstart into the 21st century’s most fiercely debated organization. The film opened the Toronto International Film Festival 2013 as well.

Film India Worldwide (FIW) has screened films at the Mumbai Film Festival every year, with 6 selected films for this year, out of which some have been screened at film festivals before. The festival has a line-up of over 200 films from 65 countries.

Mumbai Film Festival 2013 will be held from 17th October to 24th October with Liberty and Metro cinema as the main venues and Cinemax Andheri as the satellite venue.
