After 5 beautiful short films about romance covering love stories in schools to coffee shops, featuring a blind couple to a senior citizen couple – Y-Films, Yash Raj Films’ youth wing, short film anthology ‘Love Shots’ premieres ‘The Big Date’ today featuring Rhea Chakraborty [Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Sonali Cable, upcoming Dobaara], Saba Azad [Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge] & Mohit Marwah [Fugly]. Directed by Ankur Tewari, the short film is inspired by a true story in the US. It tells the story of a young talkative teenager and her autistic sister who’s speech impaired as last minute preparations for a date with the college heartthrob are in progress. A heartwarming tale that involved a lot of preparation and research on the part of the actors, writers and director so that they get the portrayal right. The short also features a beautiful love song as part of the original soundtrack composed & perfomed by Superbia sung by Shaan & Arpita Mukherjee.

And the soundtrack features 6 original songs by some of the freshest upcoming musicians of today showcasing a range of genres. The 6 music videos will be attached to each individual short film and have been directed by Shraddha Pasi Jairath.
