Starring Vidya Balan and Sendhil Ramamurthy along with Pratik Gandhi and Illeana D’Cruz, Do Aur Do Pyaar is a quirky yet sensitive romantic drama which will leave you consumed and confused. Set to release on March 29th, it is directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, an award-winning ad filmmaker making her feature debut.
Earlier Vidya spoke about the film: “Stoked about my next, a charming drama-comedy about modern relationships, which promises to be either your story or the story of your friend. It will make you laugh and cry in equal measure.”
Going on to express her delight to be directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta and to have such an amazing posse of co-actors, she added, “I’m enjoying playing Kavya to the hilt.”
Recently, Sendhil wrote about the film and presented the poster on Instagram. “I loved the character and idea of filming in India again for the 1st time since 2009. I have been a fan of Vidya Balan for a long time. She’s India’s Meryl Streep, as far as I’m concerned. I can’t believe I got to work with her. It was an amazing experience. Working with Prathik and Ileana was the on top. My first day of the shoot was for this poster. I had a blast doing it, and it’s going to show in the film. I hope you all check it out!”
