From the get-go with her debut Luck by Chance, Zoya Akhtar has created the impression to be a different kind of director. One that packs quite a punch. By not only casting Farhan, Hrithik and Konkona Sen in leads but for an honest film from a different angle that still entertained. Packed with powerhouse performances, each involved had been commended for their part. Now with her next film, the delay may be considerable, but the cast, the on set pics and the first look are creating enough hype on their own.
With the likes of Hrithik, Farhan and Abhay Deol cast as the leads in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, each different in style, looks and acting yet equally passionate, one can’t help be reminded of Dil Chatha Hai but this is definitely Zoya’s own story. That story of ZNMD is centered around a road trip with three guys, the events that occur on the trip and how they each change.
If what we have seen so far and this first intriguing poster are anything to by, this is going to be good looking and interesting film!
