The makers of Yeh Hai Bakrapur have released the first poster of the film which gives the audience a sneak peek into what the circumstantial-comedy has in store for them.

Mohawk, aviators, ear and eyebrow piercings and a style that only ‘Shahrukh’, the star goat of ‘Bakrapur’ can carry off, the poster is a hilarious treat to the eye. Behind him stand the residents of ‘Bakrapur’, who cheer and look on enthusiastically as ‘Shahrukh’ looks all set to cut an inaugural ribbon. The first poster of Yeh Hai Bakrapur has hit bulls-eye, igniting curiosity with the right volume of humour.

Yeh hai Bakrapur is a social satire set against the backdrop of rural India. A multi-layered film, it focuses on, at a primary level, on the relationship between eight year old Zulfi Qureshi and his pet goat Shahrukh. It is also a hilarious take on the complex belief systems in our society and the conflicts that ensue thereon.

Written and directed by Janaki Vishwanathan, and produced by Ramesh S Arunachalam, Yeh Hai Bakrapur is slated for April 25th release.

Check it all out!
