Ever since the trailer of Jio Studios and Aamir Khan Productions’ ‘Laapataa Ladies’ directed by Kiran Rao dropped fans have been interested and intrigued about the dramedy world that dwells into the ride of the lost brides. Set within the backdrop of rural India, Laapataa Ladies tells the tale of two young brides who get lost on a train and end up in very different circumstances, but there is a mystery, too. Do they find their way, and what happens in the way? We will find out!
To further increase the rising excitement for the film, the first song, ‘Doubtwa’, has now been released.
Sung ever brilliantly by Sukhwinder Singh, it features music by Ram Sampath, while Divyanidhi Sharma penned the lyrics.

Presented by Jio Studios, ‘Laapataa Ladies’, starring Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Ravi Kishan and Chhaya Kadam, is releasing on March 1st, 2024, and has been made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, with the script based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami.
