This year Qawwali and Bhajan will bring two communities together with the song Ya Ali Murtaza from Freaky Ali. StarringNawazuddin Siddiqui, Amy Jackson, and Arbaaz Khan, the makers of the film decided to merge both popular musical genres together, as suggested by Salim Khan, father of Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan.
Composed by Sajid-Wajid, the track is sung by Wajid Ali, Danish Sabri and Payal Dev.
Produced by Sohail Khan Productionz, and directed by Sohail Khan, Freaky Ali revolves around Ali (Nawazuddin), an extortion debt-collector for a local goon who beats all odds and goes on to becoming a golfing sensation.
Freaky Ali is in cinemas on 9th September 2016 and is distributed by B4U Motion Pictures.
