We have two new exclusive pictures from the sets of My Name is Khan! The highly, highly, highly anticipated film is directed by Karan Johar and stars the dream jodi of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Shot extensively in the United States, My Name Is Khan will hit theaters worldwide on February 12, 2010, and will be released in North America by Fox Searchlight Pictures which previously released The Namesake, Bend it Like Beckham, Water, and Slumdog Millionaire.
In what KJo calls at heart an “epic love story” the film tells the tale of Rizvan Khan. Rizvan has Asperger syndrome and because of some of his mannerisms due to the disease, he is arrested for “suspicious behavior”. What happens after is what makes My Name is Khan. Rizvan is an unconventional hero who embarks on an incredible journey across America in order to win back the love of his life. Along the way his unique brand of goodness and humanity touches the lives of many and inspires a nation.
