We have seen Dhoom 2, Lage Raho Munnabhai and the rest…but Gadar? Yes, The Zee Group has decided to produce a sequel to the blockbuster Gadar. Like the first one starring Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel, this one will be directed by Anil Sharma who recently saw his Apne release.
This is probably the most bizarre sequel of all considering that the original didn’t leave much room for another installment. Also, it’s not the type of film you’d really expect a sequel for anyway. It remains to be seen whether the original cast will reprise their roles in Gadar 2.
Let’s hope for our sake that Anil Sharma knows what he’s doing.
