His original launch was in a film that was best forgotten – by the critics, the audience and the team behind the production. Next came a film that came and went without so much as a whisper. It’s hardly what anyone would call a career shaping start. Harman Baweja’s only claim to fame was at one point his one time girlfriend (now ex- girlfriend) Priyanka Chopra. However, not much seems to be fazing the actor lately. Why? Well this has to do with director Ashutosh Gowariker – the director at the helm for Baweja’s next release ‘What’s Your Rashee?’
Rumour has it that filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker has taken it upon himself to ensure that the tide turns for his lead actor. Apparently Gowariker is so full of faith about the performance his male lead has given that he has decided to re-launch Harman in ‘What’s Your Rashee?’ Sources have revealed that the director has decided to promote him throughout the ‘What’s Your Rashee?’ promotional campaign as though this was his debut film.
This is not the first time that a relaunch has changed the direction of an actors career. We all know what happened to Bachchan Senior after his re-launch in Zanjeer and who can forget Salman Khan in Maine Pyaar Kiya. Lets hope the re-launch magic works on Harman’s ailing career.
