Mothers are special but so are dads, and RAT Films is all set to bring you the most adorable parent-child story through HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR. While film speaks about Hanuman before he realised his strengths, the film also delves into how relationship between parents and children has changed with time. The song “Maa…” sung by Swanand Kirkire and Meenal Jain, beautifully describes the heartwarming relationship, while voicing the mother’s fears for her child’s safety, it also speaks about the father’s aspirations for his beloved child.
The video is designed in a ‘stream of consciousness’ to depict love, fear and aspiration.

“Hanuman is known to be the God of strength, but for his mother he will always be her child. To be loved and kept safe always. On the other hand, his father wants his child to reach for the skies. Both emotions are so real and beautiful, in fact, everyone is telling us how the song is an epitome to the way relationship between parents and children is today. Unlike earlier, fathers today are a lot more involved with their children, there is an obvious change in dynamics which is lovely. That’s exactly what we are trying to depict through this lullaby,” expressed Ruchi Narain, the writer and director of HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR.

HANUMAN DA DAMDAAR with an ensemble cast featuring voice overs by Salman Khan, RaveenaTandon, Kunal Kemmu, Chunky Pandey, Vinay Pathak, Saurabh Shukla, Makrand Deshpande and Javed Akhtar is been produced by R.A.T. FILMS, presented by RNB film in association with R.A.T films and is slated to release on the 2nd of June.
