The beginning of 2015 saw Himesh emerge as a singer with the energetic dance number ‘Bulbul’ for the Ganesh Acharya film Hey Bro. This was the first time Himesh sang for Music Directors Nitz n Sony and ‘Bulbul’ was much loved by all!
After Bulbul, Himesh performed a series of concerts across India and internationally too. Performing in cities such as Lucknow, Balasore, Goa and more recently Gandhinagar and Baerilly, Himesh continued to emerge as one of the most loved performing artists in India. Himesh also completed a successful mini international tour with 3 dates in Fiji and New Zealand at the end of May and was accompanied by popular and talented singer Aman Trikha and newbie Akasa Singh (India’s RAWstar).
Then came the most awaited announcements that the fans were waiting for, Himesh announced his forthcoming projects as an actor! Guns n Roses came first followed by Heeriye. Both films received a welcoming response and are set to release next year. Guns n Roses will be directed by director Ravi Rai whilst Heeriye will be directed by film critic turned director Vishal Mishra.
We are also currently enjoying three songs from Himesh for the Rishi Kapoor-Abhishek Bachchan-Asin starrer All is Well. The music of the film has recently released, and Himesh has given exceptional music to three songs ‘Baaton Ko Teri’ (vocals by Arijit Singh, lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed) ‘Tu Mila De’ (vocals by Ankit Tiwari, lyrics by Mayur Puri) and ‘YOLO’ (vocals by Sreeram, lyrics by Kumaar). ‘Baaton Ko Teri’ is already being touted as the love anthem of the year! Himesh will also have a bumper music release at the end of this year, with Rajshri Productions Prem Ratan Dhan Payo!
We wish this musical maestro a very Happy Birthday filled with many more musical years to come!
