Things don’t seem to be going well for actor Harman Baweja. The poor reception of his second film Victory saw him being ousted from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production Chenab Gandhi and being replaced by John Abraham, but news in the industry is that Ashutosh Gowariker is now re-shooting Baweja’s parts of his film What’s Your Rashee?.
It is thought that Gowariker and co-producers UTV are experiencing insecurities due to their hero Harman, who has recently been widely criticised for his forced resemblance to fellow industry actor Hrithik Roshan.
Sources reveal, “Shoot for the film first began on December 6th. It was meant to be a start to finish shoot but then certain production delays changed the original plan. The shooting then got spread over with gaps in between.”
Gowariker and co- producers UTV apparently understood that a damage control exercise needed to take place sooner rather than later. It is for this very reason that Gowariker and UTV undertook a complete over haul of Harman’s look for the film. They then re-shot certain portions where they felt Harman resembled Roshan.
What’s Your Raashee? is based on a Gujrati novel “Kimball Ravenswood” by Shri Madhu Rye, a story which revolves around a young Gujarati man in search of his dream girl. However, he has to find her within 10 days so he can save his family from an unforeseen ordeal.
