Dream Girl Hema Malini has had her home burgled. 80 lakhs of gold and jewellery were stolen from her house at Gokuldham in suburban Goreagon, North West Mumbai on Saturday night after she had left to go to Nagpur. The actress noticed the theft on her return. ADC Ramrao Pawar said that thieves had managed to enter the house by breaking a window. A security guard and house maid have also been questioned.
Meanwhile, Hema has persuaded loving husband Dharmendra to help out in the re-launch of their daughter Esha Deol’s career by appearing alongside her in Tell Me Oh Kuda, in which he plays her father.
Despite being a former member of the Lok Sabha and a major celebrity in all aspects of Indian life, Hema recently flew economy class from Goa to Patna and says she thought nothing of it as it was the most reasonable thing to do at the time. The Sholay actress had been in Goa to help shoot a segment for Tell Me Oh Kuda.
