Heyy Babyy, which released on August 24th has broken box-office records and is a hit all over the world. Sajid Khan, who was making his debut as a director, was at the helm of this wonderful and hysterical film that stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh, along with the beautiful Vidya Balan.
The film grossed over Rs 41 crore worldwide in its opening weekend alone. In its opening weekend in India it grossed over Rs 27.8 crore and the film had the biggest opening of the year in the US. It debuted in the UK top ten at number 10 and set a record for the biggest screen average (6039 pounds) as well. The hit film is Akshay Kumar’s biggest opening ever and many are saying the he will now have the title of “Overseas King”. It is considered a huge success also in Australia where in the opening weekend it reached the $100000/-mark, a sign that it s a super hit.
