Music Director, singer, actor and producer Himesh Reshammiya has done it again. After being the first Music Director to give 36 hits in a year, Himesh will be the first Music Director to compose a song that is 13 minutes long for Sooraj Barjatya’s heavily awaited forthcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. This will be the longest song in the history of Bollywood!
According to a recent article at talkingmoviez.com, it has been said that the song will be picturised on both Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, and will feature over a family football match (much like the famous family cricket match in Hum Aapke Hain Kaun). The song will take the story forward, and has been shot on a much larger scale and will showcase a lot of emotions. It is known that Himesh has truly given his best for this song and both Salman and Sooraj are extremely happy with the outcome.
The song has been choreographed by Ahmed Khan. Speaking to talkingmoviez.com, Ahmed said: “Yes I have choreographed a song in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which is 13 minutes long. It is the longest song in the history of Bollywood and the song has turned out very well. It is a very unusual song and I am pretty confident that audiences will love it when it comes out.”
Himesh has previously given songs that range from 6 minutes to 7 minutes long (Tala Tum from Aitraaz is just over 7 minutes) and it will be very interesting to see what the composer has in store for his fans and listeners. We know for sure, the song shall be a musical treat for all!
