The sixth season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs on Zee TV has had a flying start, by not only garnering the highest TRPs for any reality show, but also for the immense talent of the lil champs.
The very special plus one contestant of the show 5 year old Jayas Kumar, wowed the judges and jury with his recent performance so much, that mentor Himesh Reshammiya signed him as a singer, at the tender age of 5!
According to India Today, Himesh said “I’ve sensed the potential of this child. If Jayas’s talent is honed correctly and guided in the right direction, he can soar to unimaginable heights. After hearing him reciting the Hanuman Chalisa on stage, I felt that he could be the next big singer. That’s why I have signed him for a special song.”
Jayas’s mother further added “Jayas has been gifted with an exceptionally sharp memory. He can remember any song’s lyrics after hearing them just three or four times.”
