War 2, needless to say, is a highly, highly anticipated film in 2025. A part of Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spyverse, War 2 sees the return of Hrithik Roshan’s Agent Kabir. This time he will be up against Jr NTR, in the film directed by Ayan Mukerji releasing August 14th.
The sequel to 2019’s highest-grossing film War, War 2 promises an edgier action-packed flick. War 2 marks the first collaboration between Hrithik Roshan and director Ayan Mukerji and the first time Hrithik and Jr NTR have faced off against each other!
Fans have been in a Bolly-tizzy waiting to get their first official look, and it seems Hrithik gave an easter egg in a recent social media post that it will be coming soon.

At a fan event earlier this year, Hrithik said, “My favorite co-star is Jr NTR. I just finished War 2 with him. He is amazing. He is brilliant. He is a fine team-mate man.”
Adding, “I think we have done something good. But this film is gonna be bigger and better than part 1; that’s my promise to you. I am extremely proud of this film. I can’t wait for you guys to watch it.”
