Hrithik Roshan is set to step into Tom Cruise’s shoes by taking on the lead role in the official Bollywood remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day.
Siddharth Anand, who is behind films such as Anjaana Anjaani and Bachna Ae Haseeno, is all set to direct the remake of the Hollywood action comedy.
A source close to the project told the media, “The film is scheduled to go on floors early next year,” and Hrithik is set to start shooting for the film after he wraps up Krrish 3.
It has not yet been confirmed which leading Bollywood actress will take on the female lead portrayed by Cameron Diaz in Knight and Day. The source told the media, “A call will be taken soon on who will play the leading lady. It is a tough choice to make since the actress will have to match Cameron Diaz’s onscreen charisma.”
According to reports Katrina Kaif is one of the Bollywood actresses being considered for the female lead.
