Though officially there has been no announcement about Krrish 3, we do know that Papa Roshan and son are working on the script to the sequel of the blockbuster Krrish. Not much is know about the project except that the villain in the movie will be more than a match for the super-hero. Who would like to play this role? None other than Krrish himself Hrithik Roshan.
Hrithik said, “All I can say at this point is I wish I could play the villain in Krrish 3. I’m really excited about the villain’s role. So much so that I feel like giving up the super-hero’s mantle to play villain. His role is too exciting.”
Will we see him in that avatar? “No, no. That would be a triple role because then I’ll be playing the father, son and the villain.”
About perhaps reprising his role in Dhoom 2 Hrithik said, “Well, I think Dhoom is a fabulous franchise. It has to move on. Whether my character Aryan will be back or not remains to be seen. Anything is possible in the movies. The challenge for every Dhoom or Krrish film is to be bigger and brighter than before. I think we’re climbing the ladder very fast. Soon we needn’t fear comparisons with our Hollywood counterparts.”
Adding, “The point is to find new challenges, I only want to do make-or-break films. And Krrish 3 will fall into that category.”
In the pipeline is, of course, the very highly anticipated Jodhaa Akbar which releases in January and then hopefully soon we will get to see this fabulous actor in Krrish 3. Keep checking back for all the news on Hrithik and Krrish 3!
