Call us completely intrigued, the makers of Lust stories have released the trailer of the film. What makes Lust Stories so cool is that it is 4 short films in one each directed by the likes of Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee. Not only that the incredible cast includes Manisha Koirala, Bhumi Pednekar, Radhika Apte, Neha Dhupia, Kiara Advani, Vicky Kaushal, Akash Thosar, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sanjay Kapoor and Neil Bhoopalam. The film, produced by Ronnie Screwvala and RSVP in association with Ashi Dua of Flying Unicorn Entertenment, will premiere exclusively on Netflix, 15th June.
Netflix writes, “Lust Stories is a contemporary take on real-life relationships through the lens of four women and their desires. The anthology film is a take on ‘Love, Sex and everything in between!’”

The producer explains, “Lust Stories – four short films that deal with real life relationships in modern India and brought together as one film brilliantly under a common theme by Anurag, Dibakar, Karan and Zoya is a perfect premiere for global audiences on Netflix. Diverse global audiences will discover, engage and enjoy this movie.”
Talking about the title director Karan Johar said, “One has not shown lust sensitively. Both love and lust and co exist. But many times it has had bad influence on society. And we are responsible bunch of filmmakers. We have used it in right way. Lust cannot always be gauged by negativity, it is a bona-fide emotion.”
About working on Zoya Akhtar’s film star Bhumi Pednekar revealed, “When Zoya called me I was jumping from the bed as she has been on my wish list for the longest time. I am always looking for newer characters newer stories, newer emotions to feel, newer boundaries to break and this story did it all. This story talks about so many biases in society that we don’t even know if they exists we just look through them.”
